Received, everything works fine, I need to check whether it's possible to add the device in the app if the region is not Chinese mainland...

Fernblatt No. The MI app will not recognize this device unless set to Chinese region. I'm in the US, but tried EU, Russia and several others, but like all Xiaomi non-international devices, the region must be set to China. Once set, the app automatically recognizes it and registers it. Takes perhaps 2 minutes.
