This device is great and very relevant for the current pandemic as it can kill Coronavirus on surfaces, prevent COVID-19 spread and infections. UVC has been already proven to kill viruses and bacteria and are used at hospitals for sterilization. This device features a powerful 32Watts UVC 254nm lamp manufactured by Philips with a 9000Hrs life. It can fully sterilize a room of up to 30 sq. meter. The Xiaomi Five UV-C Sterilizer has Wi-Fi connectivity and can be connected to the Mi Home App for remote access. It also features a sensitive motion detection sensor that turns off the UV lamp once any motion is detected to protect any human or animals from getting the UV radiation by accident.
