I weighed the tub of paste and it was only 109 grammes in total as delivered. The lid weighed 8 grammes on its own and I estimated the plastic tub at 150% of the lid giving a total package weight of 20 grammes, leaving the contents at a net weight of 89 grammes. Rounding the net weight up to 90 grammes leaves me short changed by 60 grammes of the stated contents weight. I'm not impressed but I couldn't be bothered going through the rigmarole of reporting this shortfall. The 90 grammes should last me several years before I need to consider replenishment with possibly a better choice of brand. I have a few sticks of Beeswax lead soldering flux from my days with the GPO apprenticeship over half a century ago when plumbing lead sheaved underground telephone cable joints and this yellow flux paste just seems to be a modern day much softer version of Beeswax flux, working on the same principle of excluding the oxidising effects of air and the provision of even heating using the same technique demonstrated in a chip pan with hot oil to evenly apply heat to potato chips. In other words, it's nothing special other than being a runnier version of a "Hypologenic" neutral Ph soldering flux in a handy tub.
