Bought this to repair the windshield of my car which has a huge crack in it. This drill is tiny (1,5x20mm) so you will need a dremel of sorts to use it. With this drill you make a small hole just in front of the end of the crack, so that the crack has a place to stop. Drill only through the outer layer of glass 'till you just hit the plastic film between the inner and outer layer of glass. Then you will need a glass repair kit (also sold by banggood) to fill the crack with resin.

Kleiner Karbidbohrer zur Reperatur von Steinschlaegen in der Windschutzscheibe. Zum Bohren braucht man einen Dremel oder so. Steinschlag anbohren bis zur Folie in der Scheibe und dann mit einem Repair Kit (Harz) auffuellen- fetig. Nicht so leicht wie man denkt, aber immer billiger wie eine neue Scheibe. Bei dem Preis auf jeden Fass einen Versuch wert.
