This is a good quality product when it comes to the arm, fan and light. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing about the inline switch which broke on me internally when I first tried to switch it on. Also the filter that fits on the fan is about 1mm thick and I do not think it is carbon. It is easy to remove and replace, but do not expect the included filter to do anything for you. If anything, the fan would be used to disipate the smoke into the room you are in and that's about it. Apart from the Switch and the filter, everything else is good.
