I purchased this capsule to complete a microphone project I have been working on using a BM800 body. I expected it to be the same as other 34mm condenser capsules I had looked at online, but it was different. While it is 34mm in diameter, it is only 9mm thick, compared to 11.5mm for the others. It has one row of mounting screw holes, not two and it has a capacitance of 47pf, not the 68pf I had expected. With the lower capacitance, it would not tune with the RF bias circuit I am using so I added a 22pf capacitor in parallel with the capsule and then was able to tune the circuit correctly. This does reduce the capsule output a little, but the level remained acceptable. With a 68pf capsule however, the self noise level would have been lower due to the higher output. The sound produced by the capsule is full and clear with less harshness and sibilance than the original BM800. I am very pleased with how this condenser capsule from Banggood performs and am looking forward to receiving more soon.

LDs came in separate clear plastic cases but without any dampening material in a black plastic bag. Considering the thousands of kilometers from China to Austria, Europe, it's a miracle they survived their journey without being stepped on by some disgruntled post office employee. But they survived. Diaphargms as good as expected - I will buy from this seller again soon.
