this is the second one of these I've purchased; it has an on/off switch to preserve the battery but more importantly you can replace the battery unlike other units; I keep this by my lathe to note measurements etc. when a pencil and paper are not around... most machinists don't keep paper around their oily machinery but this tablet solves a lot of problems...the price is really good!

this tablet uses a replaceable battery and has a screen lock, most others do not therefore this tablet is superior for that reason alone... otherwise it is the same as the other similarly priced 4.5 inch units... the BoogieBoard Jot (available elsewhere), 4.5 has a brighter screen but no replaceable battery
