I did test it with Samsung 5000mah battery The side led it does light all Night altough it was in Max mode but led brightness decreases I think because the leds get hot, I think it does have protection, as a Flashlight double click Max mode the light is strong, the Flashlight plastic it feels cheap, the battery with it I did not test real capacity, Thank You, and sorry for my bad English Thanks

Arrived in good time. Very cheap light plastic material,which is probably good if you want to use it hiking or hunting where its light weight might be a benefit. Appears to work as advertised. A bit fragile.
