As usual fast shipping (<11d), so nothing much to say:). The iron itself is a charm. A few notes: As describe elsewhere, file away slighly at the front nut with say a grinding belt 200 grit or higher to permit the iron to fit into a jbc soldering stand, such as the one sold by aixun. As for USB PD: anything Baseus-GaN-Charger does hate anything original JBC... . PD irons such as S60 for the c210 or this one for c245 soldering tips with their ca 2 ohm resistance are too taxing, even way below 5amps given how fast they toggle their PWM heating. For the S60 it may suffice to worsen the cable (i.e. choose a long one, add some usb-c-usb-c adapters or a voltmeter), as it runs at 12V and the max amp (12v/2Ohm) is near what pd may offer, give or take the frequent switching. For the L245, we howerver get 24v/2, ie. upto 12amps: original tips are a now go when used with usb. Search for "customized l245 soldering tips", which have higher resistence and thus may work with usb pd (same 6.x ohm as the new "short" t12-ish tips :)). If the charger resets on turning on heating, do worsen the cables as shown above. For DC voltage (12V for S60, 19V-24(or 28V) for the L245), us an USB-C male to DC5521 or DC5525 adapter. Using e.g. an ASUS laptop power supply with the original tips is a dream: 2sec to soldering temperature... And if you have a annoyance of a groundplane to cope with or a heatsink to (de)solder, switch out the ASUS for a 24V or 28V power supply for a short period: This trades some lifetime of the tip and dc552X - usbc adapter for an addiitonal extra 100W or so. The iron will cope with your USB-c-spec abuse. As I misordered an USB-C male to DC5525 adapter, which turned out to be a PD trigger when connecting to an USB-C charger port. When used in opposite direction, it also nicely worked to power the iron (tested with 24V or 6S; with 28V, consider a PSU like meanwell known to not suffer Voltage spikes (cf. pinecil v2 24v+28v cheap charger horror stories).
