i had to change the wires with ticker ones. 4.2v and another cell 3.9v.... i had to manually charge 1 cell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Build quality is good and didn't get warm after 10-15 welds i did in order to test it. I expected it to work, but this one surprised me with more than enough amps to accuratelly weld both nickel plated and 100% nickel strips. It came with a roll of nickel plated Iron strip which is awkward to weld. It welds easily, but creates sparks and might create holes in the strip. Using pure nickel is much, much better in terms of sparks, holes and noise. Especially if you have a bad heart :) The automatic

works great and i was able to reweld by battery, the prongs are a little crappy but functional, and if you are doing more than a few batteries in one go itll get warm quick. compared to the £200+ real ones, def 5star for the price. just make sure to get the process down correctly. press one prong down hard then press the second one down firmly and hold it until the see/hear/feel the pulse

I'm an early model, so the battery is big. Tab welding of the battery is complete. This is convenient.

The nickel plating arrived today so I'll get right to work ! hmm tomorrow plenty of time good gear all of it, I am that happy buyer.

I was amazed with the performance of this small battery spot welder. Worked very well for my projects.
