Hi, this is a fake u-Blox M8N module in my opinion. Why? Because it does not contain the flash memory. All original u-Blox M8N modules have to have flash installed. So, you can't update firmware, you can't save configuration. But it's working and working well. Probably the original IC from u-Blox was used. Log from u-center: 0.0 - Trying to open port STDIO 0.0 - Setting baudrate to 9600 0.2 - Sending training sequence 0.5 - Received Version information 0.5 - Receiver currently running SW 'ROM CORE 3.01 (107888)' 0.5 - Receiver HW '00080000', Generation 8.0 0.5 - Sending ROM CRC-Mix-Read 1.2 ROM CRC: 0x2FEF89EA 1.2 u-blox8 ROM3.01 hardware detected (0x2FEF89EA) 1.2 Getting Port connection to receiver 1.3 - Connected port is: UART1 1.3 Commanding Safeboot 1.8 - Re-enumerating... 2.8 - Setting baudrate to 9600 3.0 - Sending training sequence 3.3 Detecting Flash manufacturer and device IDs 4.3 - Retry poll 5.3 - Retry poll 6.3 - Retry poll 6.3 ERROR: Flash Detection timed out 6.3 Firmware Update FAILED
