I have tested that this LRF really measures up to 900m range (at least on building-sized targets). I have tested and verified accuracy using state geodetic maps - it's over 98% and typically over 99% on longer ranges (see testing picture attached). Fair lasing target discrimination (LRF returns different ranges to individual chimneys of a chimney pack). Has continuous "scan" mode of rangefinding, which is useful to discriminate smaller ranged objects. Doesn't require external batteries, has integrated rechargeable accumulator charged through micro-USB port.
