Arrived in good time. Pretty much is what it appears to be. It is a docking station that required power to work, which it gets via a USB C connector. I bought this to connect to my tablet because my tablet only has one USB C connection which is not so good if I am using a USB memory stick and the power is getting low because with only the USB C connector I have to choose between charging and memory or other items I might want to connect like an external hard drive etc. This docking station allows me to connect a monitor and keyboard and mouse as well as a range of other things like a hardwire network connection and three screens to anything I dock with... tablet or Laptop... simply by connecting one USB C cable to the tablet or laptop. Very handy.
