As with all seat post racks, this one is fairly heavy. Works well on a mountain bike, or other with metal seat post. The clamp works well. I would not recommend it for carbon seat posts. There is no front-to-rear adjustment, but for me, it was long enough. The side wheel protectors are too short for even my small saddle bags to attach properly. For larger saddle bags, it is likely they can contact the wheel. The rack is sturdy, and overall, good value for the money.
