it was a hassle to almost dissamble all the 3D printer, but after installing the direct drive and set it up, it was a pleasure doing it all. 1000% recommended you have everything to do your 3D Printer in direct drive, although the extruder mechanism is plastic as the original Ender and can't be replaced with the Aluminium one as it has the collect which is screw in and the plastic one for the direct drive does have no collet to connect the bowden tube together, but it is a great upgrade for sure and definetely worth the money and time to install.
