This seems to work great so far! There are just two problems with it: 1) it came with a US plug converter, but it's not grounded! This defeats the "ESD-protection" doesn't it? 2) I used a different power cord (grounded!) that I had, which was compatible. However, the unit beeps every few minutes even when powered off with the big physical on-off switch on the back. Very annoying. You have to actually unplug it.

Si il n'y avait qu'un achat à faire pour vos montages électronique, c'est bien ce fer à souder. Réglage de la température avec sonde de température. Système d’étalonnage de la température. Les pointes à souder son top.

this soldering stations warms up sooo fast compared to my 35watt soldering iron. i usually have to turn on my 35w and walk away for few minutes then come back. this soldering station gets up to 350C in less than a minute. Best soldering station for the buck and i didnt have to piece it all together. looks professional and clean. Only problem is the 220 to 110 converter piece is low quality and prongs are very thin and does not stay in the wall socket very well. I have to make sure the connector doesnt move. I may end up just soldering thin layer to prongs on converter to allow tighter fit into wall power receptacle
