I have ordered this bulb without seeing that it was meant for 110V, so I was a bit scared of using it with 230V. But nevertheless I tried it with 230V an was surprised that this bulb can handle this. In fact I was also surprised that my power network can handle this and the bulb did not start smoking (at least for 1 hour powered on). It just worked as expected and is bright as hell. So if you bought the wrong one just don't worry, give it a chance and try it.
