A very good tool when precision is required. Accuracy and repeatability are excellent. The stainless steel blade is very thin and flexible. This is useful on curved surfaces but it is also vulnerable in a wood shop environment. The knurled knobs were loose on arrival. You may have to align the blade and tighten the knobs before first use. You need to align both the angle and the zero origin. To use it you need a pencil with a very sharp tip. When using refill pencils use 0.5 mm. More common in wood shops is 0.9 mm and although this may work in the slots, it is too big for the holes. A very good tool, but may be more suited for use in an office or laboratory than a wood shop.
