Gives out a good level of light but the light colour is much cooler and not as warm as an equivalent tungsten halogen lamp

I have gone threw a couple of these globes, I always have the same problem with them of the light output greatly decreasing in a fairly short time, I have never had this problem with other LED products, and I'v got quite a few, I do not know if the problem lies in the driver electronics or very poor quality LED's, I knew way back that the Chinese produced LED's had a problem of light degradation over time, but this seems to be to much and to fast to put it down to that, my guess is something faulty

I was concerned about the color of the warm white but they work perfectly in my dinning room fixture. Plenty of light and I shouldn't be changing bulbs for a while.

The bulb worked fine for awhile (about 1500 hours), then started flickering. I don't know why - all of the LEDs still work, so maybe a problem with the DC circuitry. The "warm white" isn't as yellowy as the photo would suggest. Mine was behind tinted glass so it was fine, but it the bulb is directly visible then you might find it too white. One interesting feature for electronics DIY types is that you can easily get to the inner circuitry - it unscrews into 3 pieces. So, might be a good starting
