This device allows me to power my 3.3v, 5v, 9v, and 12v projects. That means I do not need 4 different power supplies. As has been noted by others, the adjustment is not linear. There is a big jump in voltage near the half way point. That is a minor inconvenience for such a practical device. I have powered many Arduino and Raspberry projects with this. I have also powered several LED displays.
