Excellent range of features for price,very accurate and good graphics with choice of themes,unlike usual boring multimeters. I had two problems; firstly trying to upgrade to V2.2 using windows 7. This doesn't work as it reports that new usb drive found needs to be formatted. I did that and dragged bin file into drive ok but update failed. Changed to laptop with windows 10 and started again,no problem, updated to V2.2 ok. Second issue was Hz input not working at all.I was using two of my other Fnirsi meters DSO-TC3 and 2C23T as signal sources. DMT-99 showed zero Hz for 1KHz 3v sine wave from both meters. However when I used my posh function generator with same output everything was fine and very accurate. The reason that worked is that the function generator was set to zero volts offset,the DMT-99 doesn't like a DC offset when measuring Hz. Both my other Fnirsi meters have a DC offset on frequency output. The cure is to use a 0.1 microfarad in series with your test lead to block the DC then other meters worked fine.
