The HSP RGT 18000 Rock Hammer keeps what it promises: it is an inexpensive, but very stable crawler with solid equipment. By "solid" I don't just mean that the equipment is really very reasonable for the price, but also that the crawler is stable. So far he has digested everything that he had to put up with falls and jumps with ease. But: please read the product description carefully! The charger supplied is intended for the US market. I have attached an adapter cable for use in Germany. This works because the charger itself can be used universally electrically (110-230VAC, 50-60 Hz). The equipment is partly a bit "simple", but this is due to the price; the ESC and the remote control will be the first parts I'll swap out. But the chassis is very solid and good, the vehicle may be a bit heavy overall (high center of gravity), which is rather disadvantageous for a crawler. The tires are unexpectedly good and offer decent grip. But maybe it makes sense for the user to build weights into the rims to lower the center of gravity. The travel time with the battery is about 20 minutes. That was too short for me personally because I take the crawler with me on hikes. Accordingly, I swapped the plug on the ESC for a Dean plug (re-soldered) and bought two 6000 mAh LiPo 2s batteries. With one of these two 6000 mAh LiPo batteries, the car runs for almost 2 hours at walking pace (approx. 5 kmh). In comparison, the runtime with the included NiMH battery looks really poor: 2000 mAh NiMH: approx. 20 minutes 6000 mAh LiPo 2s: approx. 118 minutes. I have not yet done a test of the real capacity of the NiMH, but it probably won't reach 2000 mAh. The ESC can easily be switched from NiMH to LiPo with a jumper; of course you need a LiPo charger. So if you want to increase the energy density of your battery, you should consider buying LiPos instead. But these are all small things. Overall I can only highly recommend this car, it is amazing!
