Good budget monitor/laptop arm with minor shortcomings. The material and finish looks and feels quite good. Assembly was straightforward and easy; the arm comes configured as a monitor arm by default but is simple to reconfigure as a laptop holder. I have a 17.3 inch laptop in it and it fits. I think it would also be possible to fit the arm to a wall with not too much determination (provided your wall can take the strain). Slotting the laptop in and taking it out is easy enough, but will require two hands. Shortcomings: 1. the arm itself is pretty short. Maximum distance of the laptop holder from the mounting point is about 55 cm, so as a laptop holder, attached to the edge of any normal sized desk, you'd probably always use it fully extended. 2. there is no easy vertical movement (which is OK for this price bracket, but something to be aware of). You *can* adjust the height of the arm, but can't just take the laptop and push it up. If you need flexible height adjustment, this arm is not for you. 3. I wasn't able to remove the cable management cover the way the instructions indicated; the material felt like it would break if I exerted more force, and it just didn't come loose. 4. You can't adjust the location of the laptop holder clamps. Chances are they'll cover some ports. In summary, I'm largely satisfied; I don't think you can get a better laptop arm for this price.
