The (very) Good: Pretty nice lab supply, with high current for a very low price. It has all electronic power supply, so it is pretty light. The voltage has a multi-turn knob which makes it easy to adjust the current. It has short circuit protection, and do not fry when turn on with a short applied. The Bad: Current adjustment is a single turn and a little bit sensitive in the lower range. Current overshoot in the low range, I tried it at 0.14A and connected a fan, the current raised to 0.3 before setting up at 0.14. This was around one second, long enough for the fan to run at higher speed. It is not a big deal, but you you need to take that into account when using the current limit for protection. The Ugly: In one of the two units I ordered, the PCB was not fitted correctly, and was rattling inside the case, sparking the heat sink on the case. I opened it and simply replaced it in the lower slot. This was not caused by shipping, as it fit very well in place now. Still a minor issue and still deserve overall 5 stars.
