3x is like a female large. Definitely not a mens size. I am 6' 215 lbs and the jacket is way to tight. The hood hardly covers my head. I usually wear an xl or 2x max and a 2x can sometimes be a little to big. If i could exchange I would as the actual jacket is nice.
