Unexpectedly powerfull! It must give out at least 300lm on high setting. Some warm is expected but not that much considering it's output. All metal frame help with heat dissipation and the neodymium magnet although small it is very powerful enough to fix the torch to any metal surface. Type c charging is a plus.
