This is actually a Mujingfang small smoother - better than what I expected. The iron is bedded at about 57degrees, nice for smaller pieces of problematic wood - this will serve me perfectly! The plane is well finished, and has a brass mouth insert: the finish is good, no issues there. The iron needed just a tiny bit of sharpening - it actually worked quite OK out of the box! The iron itself seems to be very good quality steel, and I suppose it will keep edge well. Be aware that this one is smaller
