They can be inserted with the terminals connected when operating independently, (+ GND -) you can track the current on each branch but you cannot adjust the output voltage simultaneously from a single "potentiometer", it does not have tracking in this mode which is correct - When operating in series/parallel, only one display works, theoretically on the outputs recommended for series it does not have a median socket, but you can use the outputs of independent sources and there the median socket is automatically made by pressing the "series" button only as it is a single display you cannot view the consumption on each branch, but you can adjust the voltage + gnd - together, in this mode it has tracking. - I did not sit down now to test it at the maximum limits but at 100w/channel the fans did not start. - In conclusion I am satisfied with the purchase as it was on the first test.
