This is mostly practical. The hat itself is reasonable quality for the price. However, the shield is not attached in any way. It's a separate piece with tie-string, and you just put it around the hat, so it will not really stay put. I'm going to have to modify it so it cannot come off without intentionally removing it. Another complaint was that the soft plastic face shield was just wadded up and stuffed in the package, instead of being handled more tidily. It has all kinds of creases in it, and isn't nice to look through (or at). I will try applying a very low-temperature iron to it to smooth it out.
