The unit cannot push the potato through the cutter grid. The grid bends and the blades came loose after only one potato. The small cutter grid doesn't fit the frame nor the pusher grid. The pusher backing plate is so soft the pusher plate tries to wrap around the potato, and so no longer fits the cutter grid. Trying to push a potato through even the large grid makes the whole unit bend out. On the carton of the unit it says it has a rubber suction base. This unit did NOT have it. It is simply not able to do what it was made for. I have to say though that Bang Good, was really good in making good by giving Me a full refund, so they did right by Me, which gives Me confidence to purchase form them again in future.

I just received this Item this morning tried making a couple of potatoes into chips and then this Item went straight into the bin, the blades bent and the plastic didn't fit it was obviously cheap rubbish. I was waiting on the whole thing collapsing and taking a finger off under the pressure trying to push a potatoe through I will think twice before buying again.

If the potato used is medium to large in size, the 'blades' bend and come out of the frame.

as others have said, the design and materials are too weak to even push through the softest of potatoes. The back part bends and then the plastic fingers don't align up through the metal holes. It went straight in the bin after first use. Don't waste your money!
