If I was to buy another I might consider the more expensive version with a silicone tip. This is good but it can be difficult to get all the solder in that you need. Would think about pairing it with the copper braid to help soak up excess solder. After a few uses it did bung up and was a little difficult to clean. That said for a hobbyist like myself it isadequate.
