Not that good it gets hot really fast and it's not very bright with a blueish tint to the light that says cheap emitter.

I really wish they still offered this with a Nichia LED or some other High CRI emitter. I have the original BLF version of this light with the Nichia emitter and it's my absolute favorite flashlight for it's awesome usefulness and I have many to compare it to. This one has the same really great size and shape as the BLF 348 but the quality of the light from the XP-E R3 emitter is really poor even if it is very bright (for it's size). I'm going to use the the tail switch from this one to hopefully get my original BLF version working again.
