verry good module,my 2nd purchase. stock SPI mode work well. see attached picture to disable SPI mode and enable A or E band. If you put pine1 of the RTC6705 to the GND you disable SPI mode and enter A band(get ~430mw@ CH8 5725mhz ) , binary encoding the ch1/2/3 pin to select the 8 possible channels of band(pin to the ground=1 logic level) (ex: ch3pin to the ground=> CH4 in binary table of band channel). Cutting pin 3 &4 of the RTC6705 enable E band(bascam band) and get ~620mw@CH4 5645mhz(lower channel in 5.8 band) but it heat a lot (provide a heat sink) , ~320mw @CH8 band E 5945mhz. PA input can be controlled by 0 to 5v pot. PA 0v=>125mA@5v PA 5v=>780mA @5v Jay
This transmitter is working. I can adjust the power with resistor. But it is impossible to change the frequency without specific MCU. I thought than I can to change frequency for 8 channels with 3 control pins. But in my case it is impossible. I tried to solder GND to pin1-2-3, but the transmitter is still on ~5865GHz frequency. I have the rc832 32ch receiver and I can find the video signal on (5865, 5866, 5860) channels simultaniously independently of pin1-2-3 soldered.
