I can not veryfy if the monitor is very precise but it shows the change of values when held in a closed room with persons during a longer period so I guess you can monitor and decide when to vent the room with fresh air. The temperature and humidity is off by a few percent but it's not that important. The recording function works when in main mode but as soon as you switch to graph mode the recording stops what I find is odd. Maybe there is some way arround but I have not found it. Overall it's a good device.
