Very small battery, enough for small jobs. You can cut easily medium thickness branches 2-5 mm. Not very small because you may get injured. Not very thick because it doesn't have enough power. It doesn't have automatic oiling of the chain, so I suggest you should find a way to manually oil it. I use 20-40W engine oil with an old toothbrush to apply it on the chain. If you don't oil the chain, it will loosen soon, warm up and deteriorate in a sort time. Anyway, you must have a good screw driver to tighten the chain adjusting screw often, but not the one provided by the manufacturer, because it is not hard enough to endure for more than 10-15 calibrations.
