For my Ebike it will work well enough. Begins to illuminate at 6-7 volts, fully bright at 12 volts. Draws 60 mA max. Cut usb adaptor off and soldered leads. Has three levels of brightness, but no flashing mode. Brightness is about 600 LM's. Good quality construction.

The USB plug is useless. I had to solder a specific connector for my e-Bike (~ 13 V). The light is powerfull enough, but it doesn't remember the last setting after being powered off/on.
