I have used more than a dozen of those and not a single one failed. I most often use them with 4S batteries and they work just fine, they can act weird if water gets inside but after drying they still work. They also supply plenty of power on the 5V line, never had a problem with that either. I always use and recommend them, even for stuff that doesn't need as much amps because they are so much cheaper than everything else (10 amps version maybe?)
