Harry Your question is not really well understood. If the blower is placed in the stand it will switch the heat off but continue to blow until the heat is at zero, at which time the blower will also switch off. At the moment when you remove the blower from the stand the fan as well as the heat will switch on and the blower can be used. If you're saying that the blower and fan goes off while the blower is off the stand there might be a possibility that that init is defective. I am not sure but I believe the unit might have a self protection circuit (over temperature) that would activate when there is not sufficient airflow from the blower through the head cause by and obstruction. See if theree are maybe not some loose stuff inside the blower that causes obstruction.
