Q: What type of usb cable does it use. I have a mini usb but it does not fit.

LAPTOPOLOGY Mini USB will not fit! Don't even try! Only Micro-USB, typical for android phones that support data transfer. Mini-USB is quite old and almost nobody uses it except some GPS devices and other rare electronics. The standard nowadays is Micro-USB and USB Type-C.

I received this product as a gift with low expectations. Boy, was I wrong. Although it is a simple design, it has been an asset in timing my exercise intervals, cooking, and making sure I don't oversleep during my afternoon cat nap. Overall I'm very pleased with this product and would recommend to anyone needing a basic timer.

I received this product in good condition and the arrival time was great. After looking at some Youtube reviews I decided to give this product a try. It heats up well, and has pretty good suction, but it takes too long to remove through-hole capacitors. I'm a novice when it comes to soldering, and have a lot to learn, so hopefully it's just my inexperience that is the problem, I like the product and would recommend it to those needing a desoldering solution.
