Q: I live in Brazil (type N plug). I bought the US-plug version because it is easy to find the correct adapter for it here. Local voltage is 220V 60Hz and we use 30mA RCD. Can I test a 30mA RCD at 220V using the button labeled GFCI in the US version? I guess they designed it for 5mA at 120V. Can the device be damaged if I try to do so because it is the US version and will receive 220V instead of 120V?

Seems to measure the LiPo voltage wrong. It gives 4 beeps for a 3S LiPo. Already tried resetting to factory settings, battery type set to LiPo, etc... Glad I do a test with everything before putting in a model. This thing won't fly with a fault in voltage detection.

Nice function set. But I have to give it the lowest rating in quality because it has an inadmissible bug: Each time you strike a key press or dial click, the waveform is disrupted and then restarted at a random point in time, generating a discontinuous signal at the outputs. This means it is not possible to adjust parameters like amplitude or frequency in real-time without ruining the experiment being conducted. You have to adjust everything first, turn on your experiment and then NOT touch any key on the generator. Even navigation key-presses cause this hiccup. No firmware update ever available from the manufacturer. Read forums before you buy.

Heli_Steph Istill didn't get mine but if you look in the reviews pictures, it comes with antennas installed, cardboard case and top connector pre-installed. The top connector has , -, analog input (3v max) Sbus out, Sbus in and smart port connection.

Q: Is there a similar bushed ESC for 9.6V NiCd? Several toy-grade RC cars and boats from the 90's used to run on 8 cell AA NiCd (9,6V) with their very simple control boards. I find it strange that this ESC can't handle it.

Q: Current measurement is off by 25-30% when compared with two other instruments, with load between 20A and 50A. How do I calibrate it?

Aleros I'm in the same situation; above 2.5A the precision gets progressively worse. The load was a power resistor, so little or no reactance. The benchmark was the voltage drop over a 5 miliohm precision resistor.

I bought the 5A version, but the regulator IC is LM2596S 150 kHz 3A step-down voltage-regulator. Wire thickness is for maybe 1-2A max. Specifications of RC equipment can never be taken seriously. Label says Output:5A. You could have fooled me... May still be used somewhere, but better replace the output wires with thicker ones and consider it capable of 3A max.

Very good. I already own several of these. I use one per charger to make it easier to plug and unplug. Also combined with FrSky MLVSS sensor. No cons. It is what it looks like. Uses flexible silicon wires. I like adding hot glue to the soldered ends to prevent breakage if I mishandle them. But never happened to break one so far.

This unit was manufactured using rigid wires. This is uncommon in RC environment, as handling can break them easily. Previous units I ordered from a different dealer were made with much better thin flexible silicon wire. Also the soldering of the resistors in this one looks poor, like hand-made SMT or a non genuine unit. I don't know if it would come from FrSky this way. The other units I have definitely came from higher quality material and manufacturing standards. I'm gonna replace the wires and hope it works fine.

Nice flexible extension. I use it to make it easier to plug and unplug the LiPo battery in the charger. Put hot glue near the connectors to make it stronger against lack of care when unplugging the battery.

This is a high quality meter and servo tester. No bullshit. It's a killer deal! I'd have ordered two if I knew it was that good. A must have for electric fliers. Measures Li-xx and Ni-xx batteries. Very good LCD display with bright backlight (can be turned off). Characters are large and clear. Easy to read. The servo tester functions allow tweaking both pulse frequency and width. You can push any servo to the limit, check center and movement smoothness. Helps a lot when selecting cheap servos and assembling a new plane without having to connect a receiver to center all servos during assembly. This is nice.

Well assembled. Flexible wires. Good for attaching permanently to the Accucel 6 balance ports, making it easier to connect a battery and saving the charger connector from strain.
