Peter soundlike the 7mm x .75mm thread in the chuck is over size and loose fit, it needs to be a nice close fit try a few turns of teflon plumbers thread tape to stop the runout
Peter 8mmis Dremel copy or non Dremel, 7mm is genuine dremel just make sure the thread is a good close fit and it will then run true
Peter areyou talking about backlash between leadscrew and leadscrew nut? if so thats easily fixed by making brass or delrin nuts to a firm close fit, the important part is the surface finish on the lead screw then you can have tighter fitting leadscrew nut...delrin/nylon is best...long leadscrew nuts are better.
Peter the x and y slides are very good for the money, one could do plenty of mods to this and make it even better
Peter i buy from BG all the time and the packaging or lack of is the biggest problem i have all the time . I think BG-CS and the Pack and Send People are on different planets to be sure.
Peter I think you will find Rated Voltage is not the run voltage but part of the motor description to work out driver and power supply because a stepper motor can run maybe even 10 times that voltage , they don't seem to give running voltage, that's for you to work out. Anyway hope I got that right.
Peter the power supply should be double the rated amps for the stepper or any stepper motor that what i heard .
Peter terminal is the left side one looking from the back of motor, it will run either way but better to . My 18 volt cordless drill the exact same 775 motor in it and is a very strong motor

Ianth I do wish I could tell you if it in a box or carton, as I am still waiting for mine to arrive since last year....But what I can tell you is I did order the XK A800 body which is longer and that arrived in standard garbage bag and bubble wrap and that was not broken, it was in perfect condition......I hope this helps

Peter don'tput the rod in the flame, heat the aluminium piece very hot first then melt the rod by placing on the hot aluminium work piece. Always pre clean with ss wire brush first
