Arnaud D Hi Rick, sorry for the delay. There is no continuity (ohmmeter) between any wire and the ignition case so there is sparks inside the box (shortest path) and finnaly the CDI dies. I could run the engine for hours without any problem. To prime the engine, I clog the air intake like a choke and turn the flywheel until there is no bubble in the fuel line. Don't put the fuel tank too high, you have the risk to overflow the carburetor (fuel level below the intake). Hope you will have fun.
