Dave.Harr1s BG have already answered that question and related BIOS queries for customers, in chronological order:A: The laptop can be updated with Win11 after the official version launched - July 2021A: You can contact our customer services for help and we will help you with that step by step - October 2021A: (Win11 update?) Better to use Win 10 Pro in this PC - November 2021A: Windows 11 not supported - December 2021That is helpful of them. Can you guess the answer for 2022?

Q: Does this pc have TPM

Asked by Success on 2021-07-10 05:19:47

Dave.Harr1s The present version of the BIOS that I have does not appear to have the necessary TPM 2.0 functionality to enable a Windows 11 upgrade. (See my other answer to a question about Windows 11 upgrade on here for more details.)

Dave.Harr1s The keyboard is able to be backlit. The backlit can be toggled on and off using the Fn + F5 keys. It has a symbol on the key that indicates a key lighting up.

Q: will this laptop be suitable to upgrade to windows 11?

Asked by daveharpo on 2021-07-06 03:58:57

Dave.Harr1s Maybe this laptop is not suitable for an upgrade to Windows 11. I've only had the T-BOOK X10 for one week, and this is what I've found out so far: There are two things that Microsoft's PC Health Check reports stopping the potential upgrade: Secure Boot and TPM 2.0. I've succeeded in going into the BIOS and enabling Secure Boot. But I can't find how to turn on TPM 2.0. There is nothing obvious. On the plus side: the processor in the laptop does support Windows 11. Problems in finding out about it: * T-Bao doesn't seem to have any website for support and downloads. * American Megatrends (the BIOS manufacturer) don't support or supply BIOS upgrades direct to users, only system board manufacturers. * The AMI utility to assist in determining who made the system board doesn't give a result when run on the laptop. * Some other modern laptops have not been able to upgraded to Windows 11 until a new BIOS version has been made available. But who in this case will provide it and make it available? Dave
