WonderWheeler I bet the unit would help to see gaps in insulation in a wood frame wall from the ground if it is nice and warm inside and the outside of the wall is cold. Even though it is low resolution, I think by moving it around and looking at different areas, near and far, you would see gaps or leaks if they are obvious and leaking energy. Depends on the size of the leaks. The trick is to have marked changes in temperature. The cone of view I think is fairly wide, 60 degrees on some, so being close does help but it can be moved easily.

Q: Is it possible to synchronize drawings to computer?

Asked by shookees on 2019-09-25 03:53:37

WonderWheeler I think it is intended for manual notes only and not for input to a computer, sorry. It would be a cool feature it it was available though.

Q: is there an app to save the drawings?

Asked by Francesco Mascarello on 2019-08-21 03:34:47

WonderWheeler No.You have to have or use other hardware to save images. You can only save this by taking a picture of it with your phone, or putting it face down on a scanning bed, like many multifunction office printers now have. Or of course using a copy machine, although that would use a lot of toner. If you scan the image you could also use image editing software on your computer to turn the black background to white, to save ink.

WonderWheeler It might be possible to use it as a webcam and security cam. I found a better User Manuel and it talks about using a special program for that. Manual is a hobbiest's place called cyanscorpion(dot)com The software they recommend NCH Video Capture which is free for home users.

WonderWheeler Its confusing, Its an A23 battery, also called the 23A and it IS 12 volt: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A23_batteryIts confusing because 12v 23a looks like it means 12 volt 23 amps! That would be like a lantern battery or motorcycle battery. These A23 batteries are apparently used in small electronics like remote control garage door transmitters I now know.
