Build quality is good and didn't get warm after 10-15 welds i did in order to test it. I expected it to work, but this one surprised me with more than enough amps to accuratelly weld both nickel plated and 100% nickel strips. It came with a roll of nickel plated Iron strip which is awkward to weld. It welds easily, but creates sparks and might create holes in the strip. Using pure nickel is much, much better in terms of sparks, holes and noise. Especially if you have a bad heart :) The automatic feature is great. It detects contact and triggers after a second or so, allowing you enough time to accurately place the leads while not requiring any button presses, thus freeing a hand. The buzzer comes detached and has to be soldered if you want sound. Really this product is great and all the reviews seem to think so, but I will have to remove a star because of the charger My charger came with what I think is US type plug or similar. I will have to buy adapter in order to charge it. And since it's not a normal power supply but a dedicated lithium ion battery charger I don't think I can just plug a similar voltage charger into it. I really wish I had an option to chose a shuko european plug type. The documentation is a bit lacking and I had to use google translate to read the instructions on the back and had to experiment in order to figure out what the modes do depending on the flashing lights.

liviu.gelea it'ssupposed to be that way. When measuring you first make a full rotation clockwise so you get feedback in both directions. Having the needle under 0 gives you at least the 0.8mm in the specs. If it were to the right of 0 you would lose measuring range.
