Snafu Not directly, no. 48v @6amps is only 288 watts - 1 HP is 750 watts, so you need something that can handle 1200 watts at least. You could use the PWM signal from this to control a suitably sized speed controller though.

Snafu I have many HV servos and have never even heard of a BEC inside a servo - so I suspect this is bullshit. The real reason is they are probably covering their arse in case the servo burns out at 8.4V which shows a staggering lack of confidence in their own product, especially considering the price they are asking - you can get a KST DS113MG for the same money

Snafu This EDF unit is designed to run on 6S (6 x 4.2V) 3 phase DC - the control is PWM via a 100amp ESC, but if you are asking these questions I don't think you are ready for this
