Q: What is the distance this can fly from controller?

Asked by BG485435183 on 2022-03-18 03:40:13

BG561861435 The Frsky SPI receiver will have significantly less range than the other two. With the other two, the limiting factor is more the video transmission range, but with a maximum of 200mW available you will be able to go quite far. My pick is the 2.4gHz ELRS version - the receiver weighs 4 grams, but gives a totally stable connection, ranging further than the video will transmit, with very low latency. The last thing you want is to trigger a failsafe if you fly your quad out of the receiver's range, as it will drop from the sky and may become lost. I've been using Crossfire for years but I now believe ELRS is better, even more so for tiny quads like this one.

BG561861435 The other answer is incorrect. You need the receiver made specifically for this plane as the tiny servos are non-standard and will not connect to anything else.

Q: Does this kit come with motor?

Asked by tubetriode on 2020-09-02 02:48:57

BG561861435 It also requires a specific receiver to work as the tiny servos have non-standard connections. It is useless without this. I thought it may be either PNP or modifiable to fit one of my other tiny receivers, but it is not the case. The complete plane is or was available with everything needed under another brand name, but was too expensive as you could pick up a much better plane for the same money.

Q: Hello people! Does this FC have an I2C bus?

Asked by karolvi on 2021-08-14 08:52:51

BG561861435 it does have an I2C bus. The two solder tabs SDA and SCL are on the flip side of the board, in a row of four tabs on along the edge, next to 5V and GND tabs.

Q: Does this Volantex V2 come with a fpv canopy?

Asked by EddieFC02 on 2020-09-11 12:59:52

BG561861435 Mine came with the black canopy cover, and an optional foam insert that sits inside the canopy. You could mount an FPV camera on the foam insert, but you would also need to buy a clear canopy to go over it. No clear canopy came with mine.

BG561861435 Because it's a tiny plug, I wouldn't recommend swapping wires. Put all the motors in and note which ones spin the wrong way. Download BL Heli Configurator, and plug the drone in with a battery connected. Select "Read Configuration" from the drone. Select "Reverse Direction" for the motors that need it. Select "Write Configuration" and it's all done. Very simple once you've tried it and there are never any problems.
