MikeH Both, mine is on bottom. Search YouTube for "SPC 95X 95mm 3mm Arm Frame Racing Drone Big fun in a small package" . That`s mine.

Robertha It is D8 mode receiver, there is no need to flash anything as EU or FCC different firmwares apply to D16 mode only.
