BG451443461 Ihavent managed to take any videos that are longer than 1-5 seconds yet so no to that. But yes it can be used as a USB webcam :) Hope that was helpful.

Q: can you use with cable only and not battery?

BG451443461 Ithas a built in battery but if you plug it in then it can still record if that is what you meant
