Do not use CR2032 battery with this one, it has to be rechargerable LCR2032. You have to desolder the resistor in order to able to use it with regular CR2032. Search on the internet...

the RTC module works well with esp-12e. I powered the module from the 3.3v pin, so I don’t have to worry about the rechargeable battery . a regular CR2032 battery works fine for me.

As others have pointed out, the resistor and/or diode between VCC and VBAT should be removed to prevent overcharging or damaging the battery. Otherwise it works great.

One of the clock is not keeping time. Running slow, approx 2 minutes per 24 hours. Lined up another one. Will see. if it has the same problem.
